What you like to do for fun

Fun is enjoying time spent with my friends, family and my dog. Either outside exploring, a casual get together, but my favorite is anything centered around food! Working out at the Crossfit gym is another, and then generally just gardening, reading, and quiet time.

Why DI?

At first, and still, my interest in DI started because of the software we produce and the impact it has on the industry that uses it. Once here, the culture and community at DI had me loving it even more. I’d say we are a community that cares about our work and the goal of improving patient care by helping and supporting the lab – the people and their work. This not only applies to our customers but to each other as well. The support and care that my immediate support coworkers as well as those in other departments is the “Why DI?” for me. I have a voice and I can be heard. If DI, anyone here, doesn’t understand, they take the time to listen and learn as the people at DI make DI, and I enjoy the people of DI.

What you like to do for fun

Spending time with my family is always a fun activity, other than that I love learning new skills and working on mini home projects. I also enjoy organizing developer meetups, study jams and other coding events in my community.
